• Ensure best in class Infrastructure operation service is being offered to IT and business.
• Apply technical & analytical skills to support Infrastructure functional & monitoring teams by leading the following processes: problem, change, root-cause analysis and maintenance processes.
• Direct Report To: Manager, Infrastructure Operations Center, IT MEA Services
Key Accountabilities :
o Lead problem management efforts within Infrastructure to resolve and identify the root-cause of service interruption/degradation.
o Lead service improvements and optimization opportunities within the Infrastructure domain.
o Ensure Infrastructure is compliant when it comes to service availability by leading efforts that yield to a better service availability such as the elimination of single point of failures.
o Work with Infrastructure team and other domains to build and establish a service map and maintain it.
o Lead health check activities within Infrastructure and follow-up with concerned teams to ensure all findings are taken care of.
o Explore & suggest opportunities for integrations & automations within Infrastructure.
o Generate basic and advanced reporting. Both regularly and on demand
o Create, develop, improve and maintain processes relative to Infrastructure Operations.
o Work very closely with the monitoring team to analyze trending events, alerts, service degradation & interruptions and provide appropriate recommendations/action items. Then follow up with concerned teams to ensure these actions items were implemented.
o Develops and promotes a knowledgebase.
o Lead reporting efforts related to Infrastructure operation metrics (service availability, event counts, error counts etc…)
o Lead The execution of Enhancement project the IOC monitoring and its tasks.
المهارات
o Bachelor’s degree in IT related field.
o 10+ years’ experience in Infrastructure domain (Servers, Network, Database, Storage etc…)
o Strong understanding of service levels, ITIL procedures, escalations, and RCA.
o Communication: Listen and respond clearly and coherently orally and in writing to customer and management requirements
o Reliability: Perform own role in a timely manner according to set objectives and standards without the need for detailed control
o Self-Development: Demonstrate eagerness to learn by seeking knowledge and using available learning resources
o Analytical Skills: Collect and screen information, ensure it is accurate, complete and from the right sources
o Problem solving: Ability to diagnose technical problems such as delays, malfunctions and errors in order to determine the true cause of the problem and provide a (workable/reasonable/optimal) solution in a reasonable timeframe.
o Team/Independence: Ability to work independently and participate as a team member to meet the needs of clients and co-workers and to build productive, positive work relationships.
o Organizational: Ability to independently prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environment.
