COMMUNICATION
Project Director, Project Management Office, Client Consultant, Technical Office, Project/Cost Control & Support Office.
PURPOSE
Effective management of construction operations through Coordination & Communication among stake holders & successful completion of the project/s.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establish communication procedures, including the appropriate chain of command for all correspondence for projects & set up a suitable tracking system for necessary approvals.
2. Act as a communication bridge & clearing house between Management, Project Director/PMO, Construction, Project/Cost Control, Technical Office and Support Departments in order to identify & resolve conflicts.
3. Maintain a strategic & calculated interaction with the Client & Consultant for smooth workflow & conclusion of the immediate & long-term project needs.
4. Prepare periodic reports and analysis for Management, PD, PMO or Client and document all the project scope changes.
5. Review and vet technical documents from TO i.e. Drawings, Method Statement & Site Instructions and communicate construction department in a clear & conclusive manner.
6. Develop overall PM Strategy and manage day to day operations & activities directed through site instructions according to project’s schedule, budget & dictation of technical office.
7. Ensure that equipment, materials, manpower & any other required means are readily available to meet the project’s day-to-day operation.
8. Formulate and implement recovery plans for any off-schedule and unanticipated incidents that have caused delays, overheads or losses.
9. Proactively probe any variations in the planned project requirement i.e. manpower, material & schedule etc. and discuss it with Project Director & PMO to conclude the further course of action.
10. Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a project team to the HR manager for further action.
11. Overseeing Projects Accounts, Cash flow, Store inventory, equipment & resource handling to ensure that there is minimum wastage, abuse or overruns in terms of material, equipment & manpower.
12. Maintain & implementation of safety and environmental requirements.
13. Carrying out reviews to check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecast future performance.
14. Making development plan for project team members and providing support & guidance in developing key performance indicators (KPI’s) for different personal.15. Monitor the performance of HR at various stages and take necessary action considering the possible implications.
المهارات
University degree in (Civil or Arch), PMP certification
Total 25 Years of Experience in construction field in high value projects. Experience must include 5+ years as project manager, 5+ as construction manager, and 3to5 years’ experience as a Consultant.
Operative communication skills with multi ethnic work force, higher management & most importantly the Client. Proven record of effectively managing subordinates, peers & external parties.
