الوصف الوظيفي Modelcraft is a creative consultancy that provides high impact presentation solutions to the property, oil and gas, marketing, design and construction industries. We use state of the art technology to compliment the traditional skills used in our industry. We offer a service involving all aspects of physical model making including interactive features, specialist packaging, transportation and photography. We also provide a full range of new media and digital presentations including CG images, CG animations and DVD presentations. We have offices in Dubai (UAE), Riyadh (KSA), Shanghai (PRC) and both Sydney and Melbourne (Aust). PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enhances and improves interior spaces’ functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and decor Creates project budgets, including materials and labour Establishes project timelines and coordinates work activity, vendor involvement, and outside contractors as necessary Negotiates pricing for materials and labour Maintains relationships with vendors and outside contractors, and hires out work as necessary Participates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client base Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds Adheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design element Reads and interprets blueprints Works closely with various colleagues, including architects, artists, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices Meeting with clients and other tradespeople such as architects or builders to discuss the needs of the client. Produces sketches, drawings, and floor plans to illustrate concepts and finished projects using computer-aided design programs (CAD) and hand-drawing skills Developing designs according to a brief that are functional, appealing and appropriate for the space. Researching and preparing plans, diagrams or sketches for interior constructions, materials, finishes, lighting and furnishing. Inspecting and supervising the work of tradespeople to ensure that quality and safety standards, costs and deadlines are met.
