1. Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
2. Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
3. Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation
4. Exploring investment opportunities
5. Establishing and evaluating profit plans
6. Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
7. Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
8. Providing financial models and forecasting
9. Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
10. Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
11. Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
12. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
13. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
14. Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
15. Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
16. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
17. Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
18. Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
19. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
1. Must hold CFA degree ( at least 1 part )
2. Proven working experience as a financial analyst
3. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
4. Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
5. Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
6. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
7. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
8. BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
