Duties and responsibilities:
-Taking all complaint calls, put each call in a register for follow up and ensuring that all complaints are addressed. All addressed complaints should be updated in the register.
-Preparing a log of the complaints received and submitting to Network Division Head on weekly basis.
- Analyze network configurations
- Assist with network inventory tracking and management to support the network
- Troubleshooting for any IT-related problem that arises.
- Installation of network subsystems and to modify local, customized software programs/features (e.g., Internet, electronic mail, and telecom features)
- Resolving all issues related to connectivity, system integration, windows operating system and traffic issues.
- Schedule maintenance activities for assigned plant computers/printers on periodic basis.
- Maintaining, repairing and upgrading network and computer systems
- Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software and systems.
Monitoring network and systems to improve performance Installing new software, - Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)
- Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet, and installing antivirus protection
Qualification and requirement:
- Bachelor degree in computer science (BS) from recognized university
- fluent in English & arabic
- living in Riyadh
- Minimum experience required by this position:
2-3 years’ experience in network administration, including hardware, system software, and TCP/IP.
Must have hands-on experience with cisco routers, hubs, and switches. experience with VPN, UNIX (linux and Solaris) and a working knowledge of windows servers and exchange servers.
certification preferable.
