Job Description Operations supervisor:
1.  Mechanical engineer with min. 15 years experience in medium to large structural steel fabrication factories.
2.  Min. 7 years of experience in the Gulf in a medium to large structural steel fabrication factory.
3.  Fully responsible of operations different teams from materials receipt to delivery of fabricated steel to sites.
4.  Fully responsible for meeting fabrication and delivery schedules and deadlines.
5.  Fully responsible for ensuring each and every station/ machine/ fabricator/ welder meets and exceeds their daily targets day in and day out. 
6.  Ensuring all production works at different stages are to the best quality procedures and as per required ITP
7.  Ensuring full coordination and cooperation with QC department staff to follow requirements and standards specified for each job.
8.  Ensuring full cooperation with the production control staff to meet schedules and deliveries in the needed sequences.
9.  Anticipating bottle necks in the fabrication process prior to its taking place and taking all necessary action to prevent it happening that day and on an hourly basis….
10.  Ensuring submittals of all needed reports for all sections of the factory. And analyzing each and every data for each section and person to build on it and rectify quickly and improve production levels
11.  To ensure that no shipment is to be made without the QC and finance release for it
12.  To suggest and discuss with management any process improvement thoughts and procedures that will benefit the output.
13.  To increase production levels and targets substantially on a yearly basis.
14.  Full responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance team for all machines, tools, and vehicles in the factory.
15.  To be fully in charge of all operation’s staff behaviors/ disciplinary/ vacations scheduling and their own safety during working hours.
16.  Ensure that the factory is never out of any needed direct materials in the fabrication and welding of steel and to plan for such materials requests prior to running out and in plenty of time allowing delivery time for such materials..
17.  Ensuring the factory is clean and safe at all times for the workers, ASF other staff and visitors.
