Job title: Oracle ERP Financial Consultant
Purpose :
• To provide functional consultation to business units, and implement and support Finance Track’s systems, in order to ensure data’s consistency and financial statements accuracy within the company’s operational plans, and adopted policies and procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Consulting and Implementation:
• Analyze, review and validate user requirements.
• Assist in the creation of implementation project plan and identify key implementation issues, tasks and risks to concerned people.
• Deliver high quality presentation and demonstration.
• Ability to setup the core modules under financial track (General Ledger, Account Payables, Account receivables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management) also preferable to have some knowledge in advanced modules such as I Receivables, I Expense, I Assets and credit management.
• Maintain knowledge of inter-related functions (Human Resources, Supply Chain) to ensure Finance module’s data accuracy and avoid future system conflicts and coordinate with functional consultants in other areas to support application integration.
• Building future business processes and flow charts
• Designing best solution mapped to company business process, polices and procedures.
• Follow up the system updates to ensure system stability and dealing with oracle support by opening SRs with Oracle support and follow up with them until solving any raised issues and bugs.
• Prepare documentation for Finance module such as Future business processes, test scripts and setup documents or any related integration and extensions documents.
• Conducting CRPs, administrate Key user and End User training and manage the customer acceptance test.
• Follow all relevant Information Technology’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within the company.
Technical Support
• Acting as a first line of support for implemented modules including Troubleshooting, addressing and resolving any technical problems raised by users to enhance business processes.
• Collaborate with the Database Administration and Development Teams during systems’ integration for Finance related operations.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• 3 to 5 solid years of experience in ERP Implementation and Technical Support is required
• Previous 3-5 end-to-end ERP Modules’ implementation experience is required
• Sql\plsql is preferred
Education and Certifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required
• A certification from Oracle is preferred
