Auburn offers Bachelor’s, First Professional, Master’s, Educational Specialist, and Doctoral degrees and is an institution that is both highly research-active and committed to maintaining teaching excellence. A PhD program proposal was submitted and is pending approval. The College of Nursing offers twice per year traditional BSN and RN to BSN admission. We offer graduate programs with Primary Care Practitioner, Nurse Educator certificate, and DNP options. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. http://www.ccneaccreditation.org/ . Minimum Qualifications for Tenure Track: Candidates must have an earned research doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in nursing or a related discipline and expertise in research methodology at the time employment begins. Desired Qualifications: Baccalaureate, graduate, and online teaching experience, evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration, scholarly productivity, and record of external funding. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Review of applicants will begin March 18, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.
