الوصف الوظيفي 1.Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department. 2.Provides consultative services for primary medical care needs of eligible patients, as defined by the MSD. 3.Uses clinical skills and methods appropriate to a primary care setting to analyze the patient’s complaints and establish a plan of action in his/her best interest. 4.Assesses, evaluates and arranges for diagnostic procedures for patients referred to him by the Primary Care Physicians. 5.Screens referrals of patients from the Primary Care to the Specialty clinics. 6.Initiates investigations which will confirm, establish or rule out diagnosis, or be of benefit to the patient. 7.Participates actively in the continuous medical education activities of the department. 8.Participates in the teaching of the Primary Care Physicians. 9.Participates in the research activities approved by the department and the Hospital Research Ethics Committee. 10.Provides guidance and counselling to the Primary Care Physicians as and when required. 11.Studies, assesses and applies new advances in the field of Primary Care Medicine, if found suitable and appropriate. 12.Assists the Chief of Primary Care in the administration of the department when needed. 13.Fulfils the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialities with regard to continuing medical education. 14.Undertakes any other duties as directed by the Chief. 15.Performs other tasks and duties assigned to him within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities. المهارات 2.Basic knowledge of computers and information technology as applied to the medical sciences. 3.Knowledge of Internet resources of Family Medicine and other medical specialties and necessary skills of retrieving suitable information from the Internet. 4.Previous experience in the Middle East.
