The candidate will be expected to work a 40 hour week and night shifts if necessary to match the Contractor’s working day.
Apart from basic salary, the candidate will also receive:

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be one of two Resident Engineers responsible for managing a team of local site staff of engineers and inspectors providing site monitoring and supervision services for a section of motorway. Responsibilities include: • Full supervision and monitoring of site construction work • Maintaining full records of construction activities and diarizing • Requesting when necessary and observing testing • Inspecting completed works for commissioning • Obtaining sign off of the works from registered personnel in compliance with Saudi regulations • Manage the preparation of client reports, bringing together the contributions from other specialist areas of the business. • Deliver projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations. • Communicate project’s critical issues in a timely manner to Senior Management • Determine need for and attend project progress meetings. • Assess staff requirements at each stage of the project. • Review internal processes for effectiveness and efficiency and suggest possible areas for improvement where necessary. • Comply with Alowaidah quality procedures • Comply with Alowaidah and local Health & Safety Procedures Ideally you will have worked overseas before, and will have 5 years’ experience plus as a resident engineer.

+5 years relevant experience Syrian and Pakistani nationals only
