Housekeeping Manager/Director (HOD) - 5* Hotel in MakkahAbout the roleThe Housekeeping Manager/Director (HOD) is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with hotel standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing hourly staff. Primary Responsibilities:Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, restaurants, washrooms, suites rooms and all indoor and outdoor public spaces Managing casualsPlanning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfactionDaily supervision of the housekeeping staffRecruitment and staff managementPurchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventoryProvide training

Be willing to be based in MakkahMust be MuslimMinimum 5 years as a house keeping managerExperience of managing a minimum of 500 roomsGood customer service Understand, and resolve concerns from guestsStrong organisational skillsProblem solving skills for both customers and staff membersGood leadership to help oversee and motivate staff members
