Fire Alarm systems Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
 Manage routine site inspection, testing, servicing, installation and preventative maintenance of life safety (fire detection (alarm), security, CCTV, & monitoring) product lines.

 Troubleshoot system problems and resolve via physical equipment installation or software changes in cooperation with site technicians.

 Possess or ability to obtain knowledge of NFPA and local fire codes and standards.

 Ability to program systems via laptop and/or other hardware device(s) in minor to complex situations and in small to large sites.

 Knowledge of computer networking, IP addressing, and connectivity.

 Knowledge of low voltage electrical, including troubleshooting skills and instruments.

 Knowledge of security systems and CCTV.

 Archive inspection, maintenance and installation related documentation electronically and paper-based.

 Maintain customer satisfaction for continual company growth.

 Complete assigned tasks on time with minimal supervision.

 Support emergency service call-out on a rotational basis.

 Perform other duties as assigned.

المهارات
 Must be residing in Saudi Arabia and available for sponsorship transfer.

 Having a bachelors engineering degree related to Electronics and/or low current systems.

 Minimum two years’ experience in commercial / industrial fire alarm systems.

 Must have hands-on experience in programming, testing, commissioning and maintenance of popular fire alarm systems including:

Simplex Fire Alarm Systems
Edwards Fire Alarm Systems
Wachter Fire Alarm Systems
Honeywell Fire Alarm Systems (Notifier, GENT, Farenhyt, Morley IAS, etc.)
COOPER Fire Alarm Systems
SIEMENS Fire Alarm Systems
 Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word documents pertaining to inspection reporting.

 Experience in designing mid to large scale systems using AutoCAD and implementing the project as per the design and producing as-built drawings after project handover.

 Ability to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.

 Must be willing to travel within KSA for day trips and work extended hours as needed.
