الوصف الوظيفي المهارات The Supervisor, Campus Safety is responsible for promoting and ensuring the personal safety of employees, students, and visitors, as well as buildings on campus and off campus, if applicable. Participating in regular foot patrols and participating in the delivery of educational programs for students and employees as it pertains to safety & security of the campus. Building strong, positive relationships with staff, faculty, and students. Providing guidelines on security for all residence buildings. Conducting ongoing patrols of the college to ensure physical security of property. Checking entrances/exits and all interior doors and points of entry. Unlocking and securing buildings according to daily schedules. Preserving evidence. Responding to incidents, occurrences, and emergencies. Assisting in medical first aid and/or CPR, as required. Receiving information and determining the requirement for after-hours services and emergency response for physical plant issues, police, medical, counseling, and fire. Participating in fire alarm testing & drills and monitoring safety issues. Providing information and assistance to staff, faculty, students, and visitors. Managing the security team, providing training and mentoring. Managing the responsibilities and supervising the third-party security team Assisting the Manager, Facilities & Operations in setting up the schedules of shifts, and recording and reporting absentees. Assisting, when possible, in community engagement such as with official directorates. Liaising with community partners to build on the NC KSA network and raise the NC KSA profile.
Current and valid first-aid & CPR certification is considered an asset. Two to three (2-3) years of related experience, preferably in a post-secondary institution. Strong knowledge in security and in security systems, including the ability to provide accurate incident reports. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, such as listening to inquiries, probing for details, and being responsive to clients. Mental awareness and preparedness. Well-developed computer skills (e.g. MS Word). Physically fit. Willingness to undertake additional training. Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
