· Direct the development of a detailed feasibility studies as to evaluate the viability of potential area specific developments through the development of financial models.
· Guide the analysis on area specific issues and requirements (i.e. social, economic and development) and taking into account future needs in order to be addressed in area specific development plans.
· Guide the development of area specific strategy based on issues and requirements and ensure alignment with master plan.
· Direct the articulation of detailed area specific development plans (including informal settlements) covering the subdivision plan based on the master plan directives.
· Guide and lead the development and design of an area specific plan covering land use, transportation, environment, infrastructure, city lighting patterns and greenery needs in line with the master plan guidelines.
· Guide the development of a comprehensive phasing plan for the area specific plans covering land use, transportation, environment, infrastructure, city lighting patterns and greenery needs aspects.
· Direct the development and maintenance of guidelines library as they relate to area specific building, urban planning, zoning and land sub-divisions.
· Lead the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced,
