The Category Management Assistant is responsible to provide administrative and technical support to the Category Manager and Merchandising team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:
Work under the direct supervision of the Category Manager
Ensure all category filing and folders are organized and information readily accessible on request
Create and maintain all flow calendars
Create and maintain all category and visual line lists
Track product development process
Assist in planning and coordination of availability of products for advertising and promotion
Assist the Category Manager in assortment and category planning
Assist in all administrative functions to support the Category Manager
support the Category Manager in creating detailed design briefs and understand priorities and process Occasional market travel: visiting vendors, attending trade shows, etc.
