A leading equipment distributor, rental and service provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks experienced Mechanical Design Engineers for the Engineering Design department. The main responsibilities are as below:
Prepare conceptual mechanical design in coordination with the rest of the design team to produce the drawings within the deadlines
Ensure thorough documentation of studies and design decisions
Do cost estimations and preliminary designs and facilitate the appropriate use of design reviews
Monitor mechanical design teams to accomplish the tasks within the schedule
Create component part numbers and prepare BOM’s & purchasing specs
Coordinate as a team with production, procurement and production
Audit engineering records database
Provide technical support to SDEC profit centres
Check and comment customer’s specs and do contract review
Ownership of the mechanical design architecture
To understand and comply with the procedures associated with ISO 9001
Check and approve engineering deliverables.
المهارات
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Engineering Graduate preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical Machines, Control Panels and Protection Switchgear
Highly proficient in designing using design software, AutoCAD or Solidworks
Proficient in estimating costs for varying scenarios based on customer specifications
Prior experience in the same or similar industry is preferred
Light Vehicle Driving License.
