Our manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer with experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills and Turning. You will develop/modify new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines. During the manufacturing process, you will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary. You will also work with the engineers to look for product modifications that might reduce the amount of material or fabrication time. Although no formal education is required, applicants should be familiar with the CAM program ESPRIT.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
Setup and run Multi-Axis CNC Vertical Mills ,HMC and CNC Lathes
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software (ESPRIT).
Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications machine speeds and feed rates.
Modify existing programs for different machines
Maintain tooling database
Make manual program adjustments as necessary
Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
المهارات
Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting for API Products is a plus
High school diploma or GED certificate
Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus
Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills
Familiarity with ESPRIT CAM software is a plus
Basic math skills
