Be responsible for the co-ordination, Factory loading and scheduling of all Bespoke Precast Concrete and Hollowcore products produced taking into account

Key Accountabilities

Safety, Health & Environment:

· Understand and positively promote the factory rules and procedures.

· Responsible for displaying visual felt leadership at all times and completing designated number of monthly VFL audits when trained.

· Take pro-active steps to ensure that all activities have a proper risk assessment and safe system of work and this is reflected within any program or projects scheduled that is prepared.

· Record communication on all Safety issues and pass on to safety department.

· Involve and promote a good attitude towards Safety to customers and suppliers.

· Ensure all Departmental checks as part of Company Health and Safety system are completed and recorded in line with specified requirements.

Specific Role

· Improve existing or develop and implement new planning systems and techniques which are based on a MRP(material requirement planning) philosophy and will affectively monitor performance against agreed targets

· Manage and allocate tasks to planning department staff, clearly identifying company and customer requirements and envisaged time scales.

· Organise all Contract Handovers in strict accordance with Company Policy.

· Prepare and maintain 26 weekly rolling programme by product area and overall Factory capacity.

· Assist with tender programs / schedules to support sales activities.

· Report on actual output performance against proposed production targets.

· Prepare individual contract programmes detailing key milestones for design, material and mouldage along with any other special requirements.

· Coordinate fully all contracts with all customers throughout the project.

· Manage inventory programme for all key finished goods stocks of products identifying any major discrepancies.

· Maintain and monitor contract status for all contracts.

· Attend weekly contract reviews with representatives from design, and commercial departments, and identify any areas where progresses against agreed milestone dates are not being achieved.

· Interface with all company departments regarding Planning issues and assist in resolving any areas of conflict.

· Liaise with design and technical departments on new and/ potential contracts, specifications and timescales special customer demands.

· Ensure efficient use of Factory production capacity and record capacity being utilized and available

· Maintain indicative labour and key resource forecast.

· Review, maintain agree and issue of weekly production and mould targets.

· Ensure all regular information required by all departments including ERP or accounts orientated data are issued or entered accurately in line with agreed timescales.

· Ensure the company’s requirements in respect to its quality management systems are always taken into account.

· Ensure response to all customers (internal & external) queries and enquiries in a timely and proactive fashion.
