JOB DESCRIPTION: NATIONAL SALES MANAGER
The National Sales Manager will be responsible to plan, direct and implement sales strategies and programs to achieve sales objectives, increase market share and profitability and effectively manage sales and distribution of consumer goods through Traditional Trade, Modern Trade and Pharmaceutical Channels across the Regions in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement sales strategies and programs in line with Annual Business Plan
Lead the Sales function for the Company in Saudi Arabia in terms of sales planning, execution, and review
Enhance distribution depth, availability and visibility of the principal company’s products
Effectively manage the trade and key accounts / channel partners – Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Pharmaceutical & Retail Channels in the region
Motivate and direct the Sales team and establish the sales targets – brand wise, region wise and monthly / weekly / daily basis
Focus on new channels of distribution to build Distribution, Visibility and Volumes
Manage effectively the sales and distribution and the inventory and logistics functions
Plan and implement local and nationwide sales promotion in consultation with marketing team
Regular commercial review for profitability and working capital including debtors
Evaluate and review the performance of Sales Team and develop them with appropriate training by working out a training calendar for all players in the Sales and Distribution

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Degree in Business Management / Commerce or an MBA with Sales and Marketing Specialization
A senior sales professional with 7+ years of diversified experience in sales and distribution management, strategic planning and business development functions from Saudi Arabia working with Modern Trade and/or Pharmaceutical Channel in FMCG/Retail Industry will match the above role with exposure to the following areas:
Strategic Sales and Business Development, Operations, Logistics
Negotiation Skills, Customer Relationships, Sales Budgeting/Forecasting, Financial and Market Analysis
Product Launches, Setting Sales Targets, Driving Growth
Product Distribution Network, Purchase, Inventory Management, Risk Analysis
Market Research, Competitor Analysis
