We are currently looking for a Mechanical/Piping ESTIMATOR to our project delivery team. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting the lead or senior estimator in calculating the cost of labor and/or materials for our capital cost estimates. An engineering degree is a must (Mechanical is preferred but all will be considered). The successful candidate will have 0 to 6 years of experience in estimating or related cost control functions within an EPC environment

The key job duties include:
Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
Select, measure and track important project and estimate metrics
Develop and maintain pricing databases
Perform analysis of collected data
Develop metrics from generated and historical data
Aid in the preparation of reports to upper management
Data entry
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
Engineering Degree (mechanical degree preferred but all will be considered)
Previous working experience as an estimator is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
Knowledge of MS access would be an asset (not mandatory)
General knowledge of process piping systems would be an asset (not mandatory)
