The function of Lighting Engineer is to design and plan lighting and electrical systems. Concerned with the design of lighting systems, including natural light, electric light, or both, to serve lighting needs for residential, commercial or industrial spaces. Work in collaboration with a variety of professionals, including interior designers, engineers and architects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Responsible for both Technical and Presales Support for projects
Prepares Lighting Design Concepts, Lighting Calculations, Lighting Layouts and Schematics in support to Lighting requirements.
Prepares Lighting Specifications and Product Selections
Propose Lighting Control System Design Integration
Conducts Site Inspections and Prepare Technical Reports
DMX Programming, Site Testing and Commissioning.
Provides the necessary technical support to Sales Engineers and Marketing Team as well as External Clients in terms of Lighting Design Concepts, Calculations, Specifications, Lighting Layouts in CAD, 3D Visualizations, Product Presentations, Commissioning Services, Luminance and Illuminance Measurements, and other Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities.

Lighting Design Programs (DIALux | Relux | Lighting Reality | AGI32)
2D and 3D Modeling Programs (AutoCAD | 3D Studio Max | Revit | Sketchup)
Rendering Programs (V-Ray | Twinmotion | Lumion)
Adobe Application Programs (Photoshop | After Effects | Illustrator | InDesign |
Dreamweaver)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering
· 5 years experience in lighting and electrical products
· List of project portfolio of lighting design
· List of seminars and trainings conducted
· Proof of specialized skills
· Professional affiliation from IES amd ILP is an advantage
· Fluent in oral and written English language
