Shall ensure the regular production of confectioneries, pastries and sweets as per the requirements.
Shall liase with the Head Cook on the required menu and quantity.
Shall maintain highest standard of personal and general hygiene in the bakery section.
Shall apply his expertise and bakery techniques in cooling the freshly backed pastries and cakes by placing them on provided aerated racks.
Shall ensure that the bakery equipment are thoroughly cleaned after use, are kept free of flour, dough and dust and are functional and well maintained.
Shall ensure that the bakery scales and clocks are good condition.
To wear company issued dress/uniform and shall be responsible for the upkeep and security of the same.
المهارات
Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
Great attention to detail and creativity
Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
