Candidate must have
Know how to laminate croissant dough, making different bread using levain and poolish and full knowlege of European and local breads
You will be directly reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef and head pastry chef
- Your main focus is to maintain consistency of our bakery products while managing the team.
- You will oversee implementation, preparation and supervision of food production according to prescribed recipes.

- Your main focus is to maintain consistency of our bakery products while managing the team.
- You will oversee implementation, preparation and supervision of food production according to prescribed recipes.
- You will also assist the head Pastry Chef with inventories, pricing, daily cost controls, requisitioning, and issuing supplies and equipment for food production.
- With the set-up team, you will assist in ensuring that the pastry bread display always looks top class.
- You will develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the staff and other colleagues.
- You will help to maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Production bakery experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Commercial kitchen and baking experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to work in a positive, team-driven environment, take direction, and assist with problem solving. Communicates openly and directly with Head Baker.
Knowledge of basic math: able to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to remain calm and focused and provide excellent food products in a high volume environment.
Ability to work in hot environments, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift/carry heavy items (50 lbs+) for extended periods.
Self-motivated, with high attention to detail, quality and presentation.
Applicants must be flexible, adaptable and able to work nights and weekends.
