Who are we:
Established in 2018, Sinopec Tech Middle East LLC is a high-tech R&D;institute and
technical support center for Sinopec’s (China’s largest petroleum and petrochemical
company) petroleum engineering business in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. We
are dedicated to conduct R&D;projects and provide solutions aiming technical
challenges or needs in oil and gas industry in Middle East, provides technical support
for oil and gas exploration & production, drilling & completion projects of Sinopec as
well as other oil companies in Middle East, review and evaluate industry status of
R&D;and application of cutting-edge technologies, provide high value-added
products, carry out technical and academic exchanges and develop senior
engineering expertise.
As a full-time employee of Sinopec, you will be working with a dedicated team of
professionals and have access to the highest quality resources, equipment and staff.
What you need to do:
As a scientist of Sinopec, you will lead the R&D;in reservoir stimulation
technologies for unconventional oil & gas development.
The main duties include:
Plan and build a R&D;team for reservoir stimulation technologies.
Make short-term and long-term development strategies or plan in reservoir
stimulation technologies.
Review and improve proposals, reviews, summaries, reports and other reporting
documents or materials of R&D;and technical support projects.
Guide, review and supervise the execution of R&D;and technical support
projects.
Present and report the general R&D;progress of the company in reservoir
stimulation area to company’s senior management.
Attend key technical and academic events as a representative of the company
in reservoir stimulation or unconventional oil & gas development area.
Train and supervise scientists.
Guide field tests as required by R&D;project.
Provide effective solutions for complex problems that occur during the
implementation of R&D;projects or field test.
Write and review patents and papers for journals or conferences.
Other academic and technical tasks assigned by senior management.
المهارات
Education Background: PhD degree in petroleum engineering, oilfield chemistry
or other majors related to reservoir stimulation area.
Work Experience: Minimum 15 years of R&D;work experience in reservoir
stimulation for unconventional oil & gas (such as R&D;in fracturing tools,
fracturing fluid, fracturing monitoring technologies, fracturing performance
evaluation technologies, etc.), have high reputation in relevant research area.
Have published minimum 15 journals and had 5 granted patents in related R&D;area mentioned abov.
Languages: English.
Physical Health: healthy.
No criminal records.
Chief scientists, Scientists and assistat Scientist are required.
