Job summary:
The primary role(s) of the QA/QC Engineer will be to facilitate the development and verify and ensure effective implementation of Quality Management Systems and environmental management system in a manner that meets corporate and contractual requirements under the direction of Quality Director/ Department.

Main job responsibilities:
Maintain close professional working relationships with the Company Quality Manager, Quality Director and other Quality Department staff and ensure cooperation on development and implementation of initiatives and new procedures.
Determine and familiarize with standards for inspection and tests on all equipment of department, oversee all testing methods and maintain a high standard of quality for all processes.
Quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits, and quality reporting and review.
Keep close contact with Customers QA/QC Departments, OEM QA/QC departments regarding QA/QC procedures and update to the department managers of the new procedures.
Prepare relevant quality documents required by the company during technical Bid submission for future projects.
Ensuring effective implementation and verification of inspection and testing activities.
Ensuring that quality and environmental requirements are met during the department process and are controlled and verify if inspection records are maintained.
Inspection of material received and ensuring the quality of material to be used on the project or customer equipment and reporting to the department head/quality director of any deviation.
Carry out inspections and checking for all quality-related procedures in the department and ensure the activity is carried out as per the correct procedure (OEM procedure/approved procedure) and report any deviation.
Carry out, review and approval of inspection reports and coordinate with the customer QC for review and acceptance of inspection and testing (as per company inspection procedure).
Effective coordination with the third-party inspectors and ensuring the inspection and tests are carried as per the requirement of the project.
Checking of effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment.
Carrying out an inspection when required at the vendor facility for the project when required.
Visit customer location when required for quality inspections when required.
Ensure that all measuring instruments are calibrated as per controlled procedure and the calibration documents are maintained.
Ensure reference documents (OEM manuals/technical procedures or any other contactor quality control procedures are available to all shop personnel); any deviation is reported as corrective active request.
Effective implementation of non-conformance, corrective action management processes.
Demonstrate behavior and practices consistent with Managerial, co-worker and community duty of care obligations.
Work with the department team to ensure that all areas of operations conform to applicable regulatory and contractual HSE obligations.
Reporting of any activities that are deviating from the approved risk assessment and risk and opportunity mitigating actions to the quality director and department manager.
Assist in the process of risk assessment and Internal Audit.
Required to carry out other tasks in accordance with their qualifications on the manager’s request.
Required to act in compliance with the Company’s rules and regulations, particularly in the field of labor and fire protection.
Required to work in a lawful manner.
Responsible for protecting the confidential information and data related to their activity.
Required to work independently with reporting obligation towards the Quality Director and Plant Manager.
Responsible for Environment Management and Occupation Health and Safety procedure:
» Gathering of statistical data on significant environmental, health and safety impacts.
» Inspections of work area using environmental and health and safety checklist and reporting to quality manager/director.
» Maintaining the list of staff with contact details of staff and update when new employees are hired for emergency response and preparedness.
» Conduct ISO 14001 and 45001 awareness training for the new employees and record in the training matrix and update.
» Prepare and conduct environmental and health and safety meetings.
