An Industrial, Power & Renewable Energy Saudi Contractor based in AL-Khobar is seeking to employ a General Manager.
Job summary:
Duties include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities. Incumbent should have an entrepreneurial vision in directing business functions that will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.
Excellent communication skills, excellent English and Arabic written and spoken proficiency, superior knowledge of construction contractual and business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities. The incumbent should account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, lead business development and maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization’s image, and meet overall growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing growth strategies.
Follow-up of company projects, progress and performance.
Creating and managing budgets.
Managing cost control, optimize expense and improving revenue.
Oversee the recruitment and training of employees, setting up and monitoring of performance indicators.
Evaluating performance and productivity.
Analyzing accounting and financial data.
Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
Generating monthly and yearly reports to the Board of Directors.
المهارات
Proficiency Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, postgraduate degree is a preference.
Good knowledge of Construction business functions, planning, contractual and legal aspects.
Twelve to seventeen years’ experience out of which not less than (5) years in a managerial position and (5) years of Gulf Experience.
Strong leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills.
Diligent, highly organized and systematic.
Strong work ethics, Proactive nature.
Quality and Safety oriented.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Computer literate.
