Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
Ensure KBR NGSS products and services meet set standards in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality Management Standard (DSAT QMS) and BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems;
Develop and deliver a Training Quality Management System to include a quality measurement process
Develop reporting processes to facilitate the contractual requirements of the SofS
Implement and maintain controls and documentation procedures
Ensure all course administration is carried out in accordance with Training Quality Management System including grades, discipline, reports, progress reports and remedial actions, student database tracking all academic and vocational training delivered in KBR NGSS and associated Regional Training
Manage and review NGSS QAPs
Deliver quality control and audit through internal validation
Deliver continuous improvement planning
Manage and review RFC activity and monitor progress
Analysis
Design, develop and maintain the required output documentation of Training Needs Analysis, as mandated by JSP 822, where delegated by the TRA
Required to travel to the regions to establish regional training needs as necessary
Monitor performance by gathering and analysing relevant data across current MofNG SC/KBR systems including TEL
Aggregate and analyse evaluation results on a quarterly and annual basis for presentation to the Head of Training Services and customers
Review and assess the effectiveness of change through quality control
Administration
Manage the administrative functions supporting both Training Design and Training Delivery
Reporting
Communicate the results of analysis and evaluation as directed with supporting information about best practices
Produce statistical reports on the performance and compliance with any need for improvement to facilitate the contractual requirements of the SofS
Produce management reporting for all NGSS courses in a variety of formats as directed
Produce reports for higher management as required
Office Administration
Ensure department procedures are carried out in accordance with Company directives
Maintain an efficient prioritised electronic filing system
Other duties as required by the Head of Training Services
Advise on analysis and assurance issues which contribute to achieving SANGisation objectives and assist long-term planning and change management
Manage PC Internal Validation across NGSS
Provide leave and absence cover as required
Recruitment Specification (Essential and Desirable)
Essential:
Quality Management/Assurance qualification at Level 4 and above
Experience and knowledge of the Defence Systems Approach to Training Quality Management Standard (DSAT QMS) and guidance contained within JSP 822, particularly Stage 1 (Analysis) and Stage 4 (Assurance)
Experience within the UK Armed Forces or equivalent Training Departments
Minimum of five years’ experience, including a supervisory role within training analysis and/or assurance
Knowledge and understanding of a range of quality standards and models
Preparation of concise management reports in English
Planning and project management skills
Design and preparation of spreadsheet solutions
IT and mathematical ability, for interpreting figures and statistics
Skilled in the use of MS Office software Word, Excel, Access and Project
Knowledge and experience of TEL systems and TEL reporting
Customer focus and good business sense
Have the highest level of personal and professional integrity
Have an analytical and logical approach
Be a self-starter
Have excellent time management skills
Be fluent in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in the English Language
Hold a valid driving license from country of origin
Desirable:
The ability to motivate staff
Good negotiating skills
Familiar with the cultural aspects of life in Saudi Arabia
