Job Description and Requirements
Under broad direction responsible for performing Flow Assurance related feasibility studies, conceptual and detail engineering for offshore and onshore oil and gas developments. Flow Assurance studies and engineering will typically consist of developing both steady state and transient hydraulic and thermal simulation models for multi-phase oil/gas production flowlines/pipelines and developing strategies for the management of hydrate formation and solids deposition in these lines during all operating scenarios. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center�s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Possesses supervisory/lead responsibility over a group of engineers. Responsible for the technical standards and procedures of a group of engineers. May conduct various aspects of performance management such as performance appraisal or counseling of employees with behavior or technical performance problems and assists in the interviewing, hiring and assignment of new personnel in the discipline. Administrative or supervisory responsibilities at this level include tactical responsibility for supervising engineers on all projects requiring this discipline. Skills typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience with average work experience of 15 to 20 years. Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
