Urgent requirement for a Procurement Manager - Supply Chain with the world’s leading support service company, which provides integrated facility management services.
Location - Saudi Arabia - Khobar
Salary - Gross SR 21,600/-
Scope and purpose:
Manage and develop all aspects of the procurement categories for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting the Middle East region via a matrix organisation

Main duties:
• Create and execute Category Strategy plans in line with the requirements of the business and the objectives of the department
• Drive on-going financial benefit through effective category management and developing beneficial relationships with key suppliers
• Identify and deliver key projects within the categories that deliver significantly better than market inflation outcomes
• Ensure supplier relationships are effectively managed by focusing on commercial, safety and supply chain business plans
• Ensure the delivery of a supply chain solution in line with the requirements of the business, focussing on both service and logistical efficiency
• Deliver the supply chain strategy across the entire supply base
• Drive on-going financial outcomes through the delivery of key efficiency projects and continuous improvement with the suppliers
• Work with the Regional Procurement & Supply Chain Director to implement best practice and to leverage the scale of the region where commercially reasonable
• Support the requirements of the business by resolving key issues within appropriate time frames and ensuring long term solutions are implemented
• Delivering ad-hoc projects in line with business requirements
• Ensure that the categories are managed in line with the framework of global policies and initiatives

Education and experience
• Degree educated
• A minimum of three years’ experience of procurement of food and beverage categories within the G.C.C., preferably within KSA
• Experience of working within a Category Management environment
• Used to working as part of a team and dealing with a large number of suppliers and products
