Duties and Responsibilities:
 Understand strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives.
 Implementing the sourcing process from identifying potential suppliers to adding supplier to the approved suppliers list.
 Identify potential suppliers for various mechanical & electronic commodities & facilitate their on-boarding (non-disclosure agreement, White Paper assessment, compliance audits etc.)
 Manage the qualification of suppliers to ensure that those affected are capable of producing the equipment and / or that the components are always in compliance with MHPS specifications and technical drawings.
 Manage the supplier on-boarding, phase-out and classification processes.
 Support the development initiatives of potential local suppliers.
 Provide support to achieve the value creation / savings targets for assigned commodity and take ownership of specific projects as assigned.
 Perform competition landscaping to understand product base cost and leverage best practices
 Transmit procurement quality findings to the Engineering department during product design assessments
 Planning of annual surveillance audits and annual qualification of suppliers
 Negotiate contracts to achieve set targets for budget, savings, and cash payment terms.
 Responsible of contracts administration and approved suppliers list.
 Implementing standardized policies and procedures.
 Preparation of management reports.
 Develop technical and market expertise in commodity area.
 Maintain a culture whereby all parties are encouraged to work together towards common improvement goals.
 Support the generation and implementation of new ideas and improvements in all aspects of the business.
 Any additional responsibility assigned by the supply chain manager

المهارات
 High level of negotiation skills, contracting expertise.
 Knowledge of fabrication, castings, forgings and machined components.
 Very strong project management skills and result oriented mindset.
 Strong background in computer based office management & ERP System
