Job Description
Serve as the corporate health and safety subject matter expert with clients, Sr. mgmt., Project managers and staff working on various projects
Work closely with Sr. management to cultivate the Safety Culture
Provide health and safety leadership and direction to the HSE department and Project Managers
Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships/rapport with Site Safety managers, Corporate Managers, Clients and Staff
Work within the corporate framework to foster the career growth of direct reports.
Responsible for the implementation and control of Health, Safety and Environment management system in organization.
Manage Health and Safety resources
Preparation and implementation of safety procedures according to the International Safety Standards and client/Customers requirements.
Co-ordination, liaison with Client’s Safety Department for day-to-day working at various sites.
Bringing in awareness of about safety among all involved in project execution team.
Ensure the preparation of pre-established and systematic working methods within the organization to meet the OH&S;requirements as specified in the OHSAS standard.
Propose Continual Improvement and corrective and preventive actions in the OH&S;Management System, as appropriate
Review and update OH&S;Management System, as and when necessary
Report on the performance status of OH&S;Management System to Senior Management.
Preparing the documentation and audit for contract pre-qualification.
Developing, monitoring and verify establish project safety plan.
Planning, Monitoring, Cost control and result oriented approach to meet the targets set with the highest quality and safety standards.
Awareness about ISO standard /Quality Management System is essential
Skills
Qualification: Graduate & Diploma in Industrial Safety NEBOSH(IGC), OSHA, IOSH (Preferable- Graduate & Diploma in Industrial Safety NEBOSH(IGC), OSHA, IOSH)
Total Experience: 20-25 Years (15 Years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical- Min. 5 yrs. Managerial Position in Gulf)
