Objectives:
Our client is an agricultural company, is looking for a Nursery Director to achieving the volume of production and sales target by supervising work procedures and providing the required needs and raw materials, as well as performing maintenance operations for tools and machines and communicating with specialized engineers and technicians in various fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with overseas suppliers to organize orders for plants, seeds, production supplies and equipment
Liaising with suppliers inside to coordinate in preparing the necessary farm needs
Coordinate with engineers and worker supervisors to organize and arrange work, review work orders, and distribute and schedule tasks
Daily supervision of plants and farmhouses to find out what they need from irrigation, fertilization and spraying of pesticides, coordination with the supervising engineer, and discussing the best ways to reach the best results
Communicate with the technicians operating the machines and the crops to coordinate with the manufacturers to maintain and repair the machines remotely and to purchase spare parts for them.
Daily meeting with engineers, department managers, to discuss their problems and overcome difficulties for them.
Managing the sales department by setting plans, implementing strategies, developing performance, achieving goals, setting plans and drawing up sales and marketing policies in cooperation with the senior management of the operation.
Promote and sell products as per set goals and at competitive prices.
Direct communication with the sales manager to discuss the conditions of customers, debts and competitors in the market and to find out the required items and the horizontal expansion of items
Maintain a high level of relationship with all clients of the company to ensure a continuous flow of profitable business and take care of all their problems regardless of the source of the problem.
Direct communication with the sales manager to constantly search for new customers, communicate with them, maintain strong relationships with him, and return lost customers.
Establish a mechanism for continuous monitoring of the financial position (sales target and collection) on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that the target is achieved and suggest course correction if necessary.
Establishing and updating a database on markets, competitors, geographic regions and their distributions.
Conducting marketing research and studying the market share of the company and competitors in coordination with the sales manager and working to raise the market share by increasing the volume of sales.
Identify training and development requirements for employees to ensure training needs are met and maintain accurate records for maximum effectiveness.
Providing management with periodic reports and updating them on an ongoing basis.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance and improve their skills.
Ensure that all new employees undergo an orientation and induction program prior to being assigned to a particular job.
Always encourage employees to innovate in order to maintain a competitive advantage over others
Preparing the estimated budget for the administration (operational or capital).
Executing any other tasks assigned to him in his field of work by the administration.
المهارات
Bachelor of Engineering, preferably Agricultural
At least 10 years of experience in the same field and at least 5 years in a leadership position
