Knowledge:
1. Prepares his class lesson plans and practical training exercises in line with the existing outlines and module descriptions as well as TVET and teaching best practice, as outlined by organization requirements.
2. Documents his Course Materials and Lecture Plans in the shared drive, in the formats available and in organization LMS.
3. Teaches his classes according to the agreed schedules.
4. Takes responsibility for all program administration (registers, student tracking).
5. Adheres to feedback and development points from teaching and learning observations.
6. Willing to work irregular hours, as and when required (evenings, weekends), in the interests of the organization.
7. Develops schemes of work and lesson plans.
8. Cooperates and liaises with other departments as required.
9. Carry out routine and abhor administrative tasks as directed.
10. Providing mentoring, supervision, professional support, counseling and guidance for teachers.
11. Contributing to the leadership of department development planning and identifying priorities.
12. Assist the Head of Department with the on-going identification of Training needs and plan effective implementation.
13. Assist the Head of Department in preparing and implementing the organization Strategic Objectives.
14. Monitor on Job Training and Certification.
15. Produce the relevant training manuals and training aids as required and maintain all relevant training records.
Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the Animal Production Technician curriculum, subject content, and the developmental needs of students by providing relevant industry’s learning experiences.
2. Plan using the International Standards of Learning, effective strategies, resources, and data to meet the needs of all trainees.
3. Effectively engage trainees in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies in order to meet individual learning needs.
4. Systematically gather, analyze, and use all relevant data to measure trainee academic progress, guide instructional content and delivery methods, and provide timely feedback to both trainees and stakeholders throughout the Academic year.
5. Use resources, routines, and procedures to provide a respectful, positive, safe, trainee-centered environment that is conducive to learning.
6. Maintain a commitment to professional ethics, communicates effectively, and takes responsibility for and participates in professional growth that results in enhanced trainee learning.
المهارات
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Husbandry or similar profession.
2. Good written and spoken of Arabic & English.
3. Minimum 2 - 3 years of teaching / or with extensive training experience in the industry as Trainer.
4. Computer Literacy is essential i.e. Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
5. Experience of writing / contributing to the development of course materials.
