It is the responsibility of the Designer / Sales Coordinator to plan, design and furnish interiors for residential, commercial and industrial customers. The Designer must formulate design which is practical, aesthetic and conducive to the intended purpose.
Person is responsible for doing designs for customers aiming to maximize company’s gross profit through satisfying customers with designs.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
•Presentation of well documented / designs for tender bids to client in adherence to their technical specification, drawings and design expectations.
•Co-ordinate between Clients/Consultants/Projects Manager/Contractors/Salesmen & Customers.
•Promoting design solutions and products to Contractors, Engineering Consultants, Projects Manager, Architects during his interactions with these on the project.
•Preparation of sample submission to the project site for client / consultant’s approval.
•Advises for technical queries as per specifications and design concepts.
•The Designer should be able to manage, sustain and potentially increase estimated profit from existing projects/customers, during the project process.
•Presentable, with good organizational skills, to ensure each work completed on scheduled time.
•It is important to be interested in changing trends in design.
•An interior designer will have ultimate responsibility of creating an interior environment that the client finds beautiful, functional and safe.
•Technical Coordination between Project Sales and Clients.
•Prepare & Submit Technical Submittals for specific projects.
•Supervise sample board construction and co-ordinate site submittal with relevant sales person.
•Attend project site during mock-up, construction or hand over stages of the project as required to attend to any technical or installation issues or requests for advice from the customer.
•Provide after-sales support to customer, operator or facilities management companies to obtain any spare parts to rectify a minor product fault.
•Co-ordinate any major fault repair or warranty claims with vendor.
•Maintain Technical Fault Register and obtain signature of client/customer upon satisfactory completion of any replacement or repair.
•Achieve a high level of support to Sales Team and be a strong contributor to the achievement of department and company sales volume goals.
•Apply excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, expertise in client/customer relations,
•Ability to anticipate needs and comprehensive product knowledge to act as a true extension of the Sales Team.
•Generate special sample, catalog, follow up and general business letters
•Maintain & update Technical Data Sheets in computer files.
•Interact with vendors to discuss new product development and maintain high levels of technical knowledge
•Provides support and assistance to fellow team members/departments, as needed In order to meet company/team goals including but not limited to assisting with incoming queue calls
•Complete any projects assigned by the Sales Manager including but not limited
to weekly and monthly reports, data entry, prospect mailings and any other technical support functions that may arise, as staffing requirements and business evolution dictate.

•Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction or Engineering related disciplines
•Must have experience in related roles
•Good Computer Skills
•Good Communication in English
•Minimum of 4 years of experience in relative position.
•Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
•Concise and articulate written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
•Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
•Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
•Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Max, V-ray Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge), Microsoft Office Suite
•Experience with Rhino, Inventor, Sketchup and Revit a plus (Not Mandatory)
