Teaches staff assigned for training purpose, and participates with the Director of Dentistry and Dairector of Postgraduate and Academic Affairs in planning a program of career development for trainees.
Use clinical skills and methods appropriate to orthodontic management and establishes a plan in action in the patient’s best interest.
Follows up those patients with orthodontic problems or when a therapeutic response requires evaluation.
Carries out other clinical duties as assigned by the Consultant/Senior Registrar in Orthodontics in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
Instructs and guides when necessary the junior dental staff in overall care of patients, supervises their performance/work and contributes to the training and teaching activities in the department
Shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
Participates in approved research projects.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.

Knowledge in information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases and deformities
Could design and fabricate appliances to realign teeth and jaws to produce and maintain normal function and to improve appearances
Self motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field
Ability to assume greater responsibility in matter of patient care.
