A Commercial Manager, or Commercial Development Manager, is responsible for overseeing business growth efforts on behalf of a company. Their duties include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and client leads, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments, and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business partners.

Commercial Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Commercial Managers use project management and leadership skills to increase an organization’s sales. Commercial Managers have the following responsibilities:

Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts.
Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth.
Monitor local and federal regulations.
Bid on new projects and negotiated contract terms.
Recruit and oversee contractors and vendors.

Responsible for the physical purchasing and sales of flat steel products

- Carry out market analysis and research studies and monitor industry trends to enhance overall competitiveness and operational excellence

- Develop new customers and enhance commercial success

- Contact customers to build and maintain a strong relationship

- Weekly and daily report to the branch head

Requirement

- Fluent English and Arabic speaking

- Prove experience in steel merchandising and trading

- Clear understanding of market and market risk

- Prove experience developing and systemizing market insights to support our trading engine.

- Ability to make sense of complex data and information to effectively solve problems

- Personality and gravitas to build a collaborative internal and external business relationship
