We are looking for a Boardman to work on a major petrochemicals project based in Jubail.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience and previous Middle East and petrochemical project experience.
Board Operator is responsible for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the established operating procedures and written or oral instructions from his Supervisor and Operation Engineer.
2. Adherence to company I-ISSE policy
3, Thorough knowledge of emergency response actions.
Implement safe startup & shutdown procedures.
Knowledge of all related safety interlocks.
Check logic and interlock it should be in line, if not SIF form to be filled and approved.
Must know emergency contact number and communication protocol.

1 1 . Reports & hold the work in case of unsafe condition or in doubt,
Perform or assist in the start-up or shutdown of assigned plant and facilities according to approved operating procedures and general instructions.
Monitor operating conditions and make in-process adjustments either at the control board or within the plant to ensure safe and efficient process operation,
Maintain log books and operating log sheets recording temperature, pressures, flow rate, volumes received and shipped.
15, Monitor indicators to ensure that machines are operating properly.
16 Respond to emergency situations by taking necessary shutdown or process adjustment actions to restore normal operating conditions.
17. Make regular inspection of plant facilities to ensure the plant’s correct functioning. Correct malfunctions if appropriate or refer situation to the Shift Supervisor.
18 Cooperate with maintenance personnel by identifying/locating and demonstrating malfunctioning plant and equipment.
Inspect maintenance work as assigned
Ensure that safe operating practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Ensure the panel alarms and ESD are logged and approved by the Shift Supervisor.
21 . Perform other related duties as assigned by the Area Shift Supervisor.
Assumes additional responsibilities to enhance efficiency of the team or facilitate the achievement of team goals; may provide informal guidance and support to more junior team members
Demonstrates ability to complete work activities independently and/or with minimal supervision.
Provides input towards the resolution of moderate to complex and uncommon problems based on existing precedents or procedures
Exchanges ideas and information effectively; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with others 26 Exhibits thorough knowledge required for smooth operation of assigned units.
27 Ensure there are no process deviations, report to supervisor immediately if there is any deviation.
Assist supervisor in case of process upsets and plant startup/shutdown.
Exhibits effective two way communication to all concerned.
Ensure all process parameters are monitored at regular intervals and recorded.
Ensure all notifications for faulty equipment’s are raised and attended.
32 Ensure minimum forced tags & bypasses during normal operation,
Follow SIF procedure for forced tags & bypasses
Ensure Minimum alarms appear in CAD, & report unwarranted alarms if any.
المهارات
Education Background:
Two (2) years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent; or high school.
Experience:
Eight (8) years of Operating experience. Experience will normally include progression through the Operator Ill and Il positions
