Planning Section Head

Organizing material

· Work with procurement section in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level.

· Plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.

· Track material shortages and provide immediate resolution.

· Assist purchasing unit in coordinating and planning supplier deliveries.

· Identify new suppliers and manage existing suppliers to meet production needs.

· Monitor inventory status and generate inventory reports to Planning Manager.

· Perform inventory management according to company policies.

· Assist Sales unit in coordinating and planning customer orders and deliveries.

· Identify delivery exception and provide alternative solutions.

· Generate reports on production shortages and sales impact to Supply Chain Manager for analysis.

· Address customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion.

· Develop process improvements for inventory, manufacturing, and production control systems.

· Evaluate production control activities to ensure that final product meets customer specifications.

· Plan equipment, material, and manpower requirements to meet production schedule.

Identification of materials

· Coordinate with departments to supervise the material/services upon delivery.

Handling of Planning process

· Implement Planning processes.

· Follow-up on delivery time with vendors.

· Generate regular reports on planning operation, cost, delivery time, quality, etc. and analyze to point weaknesses and strengths and opportunities.

Maintenance of Documentation and archives

· Follows up invoices that are pending in the Price Control Section that require additional information, specifications, or clarifications.

Supplier classification

· Assist in evaluation the material/goods providers and classify them to grades according to their score depending on the quality, price, deliverables, time frame etc.

· Provides information and feedback to related mangers and top management on status of their suppliers.
