Job Description

• Troubleshooting of field Instrumentation related problems.

• Investigating Plant and Equipment trips and providing remedial engineering recommendations.

• Preparing conceptual design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates.

• Providing technical support to Maintenance and Operations with regards to instrumentations, DCS. ESD, VMS, CCS, BMS, TCS, SCADA, Fire & Gas, Cogen PLC and auxiliary control systems.

• Recommending modifications to improve the performance of field instrumentation and process control.

• Sizing control valves, orifice plates, and relief valves using certified sizing software.

• Reviewing instrumentation engineering design packages and quality assurance assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Ten (10) years of professional experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry.

• A thorough knowledge of English is required to perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements. Arabic not required for this position.
