One of our esteemed client based in Jubail - is urgently looking for an experience candidate for a role of OVERSEAS BUYER, who meets the following required criteria.
SAUDI national OR any expatriate with Transferable Visa is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
OUTBOUND LOGISTICS
Coordinate with shipping agents to book vessels for shipment of finished products for domestic and export markets.
Monitor schedule of loading of products to ensure prompt and timely delivery to customers.
Handle the outgoing shipment to external suppliers and manufacturers of equipment for repair and maintenance.
Coordinate with the shipping Specialist, Logistics Coordinators, and Sales Department to make sure that correct shipment documents are obtained and filed with Customs authorities.
Liaise with Customs authorities to make sure that consignments are categorized under the relevant HSN code for export clearance.
Liaise with insurance agents whenever necessary.
Ensure prompt export clearance through port visitations, as may be required.
INBOUND LOGISTICS
Monitor arrival of vessels and schedules of offloading of incoming domestic and Imported materials, supplies and equipment.
Coordinate with shipping agents, port authorities, clearing agents, and all other shipping agencies to ensure the clearance of incoming materials.
Coordinate with Procurement Section in obtaining Consignment Arrival Notices.
Coordinate with shipping and clearing agents to file the Bill of Lading/Manifest with Customs authorities.
Coordinate with clearing agents to ensure that materials under Customs clearance are categorized under the relevant Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System for purposes of tariff.
Liaise with relevant government authorities to obtain Customs duty concessions and waivers whenever feasible and obtain import clearances.
Liaise with approved surveyors and insurance companies to file due claims, as necessary.
Coordinate with the Shipping Specialist to obtain custody of company-owned- cargo through shipping agents.
Coordinate with transporters for the transfer of all incoming materials to company premises.
Follow up with Customs Brokers to clear shipments on time.
