RESPONSIBILITES
Develop and implement Quality Assurance strategies for the projects function which is in line with and delivers the Marafiq’s strategic objectives.
Provide expert advice, support and guidance to project management teams on quality assurance by developing standards, methodologies, tools and knowledge repositories to drive strategy and project delivery.
Act as a liaison between the corporate shared services function and the Engineering & Projects division to ensure strategies, policies, procedures and their implementation are aligned to overall Marafiq standards and values.
Provide governance on the quality assurance function across all projects ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and regulations.
Oversee the development of standard quality assurance plans for all phases of the project from tendering to delivery, to ensure consistency across all projects in the Engineering & Projects division.
Develop QA/QC systems to achieve operational excellence through effective deployment of those systems, in compliance with Marafiq, national and international standards.
Advise on the development of quality audits across all projects and guide the translation of audit findings to process improvements.
Function as a subject matter expert and provide input on learning and development initiatives including training content to ensure value addition and relevance.
Stay current on any changes in industry standards, laws and regulations that impact quality assurance initiatives and share best practices across the Engineering & Projects division.
Participate in recruitment activities, retention and developing key talent as required.
Motivate and inspire quality assurance engineers to achieve agreed targets and standards for financial performance, quality, and safety whilst ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to industry standards.
Provide leadership and support quality assurance engineers, focusing on all aspects of good people management, performance management and career development.
Exercise effective control over all aspects of quality assurance activities continually looking for improvements and efficiencies in how the function operates.
Develop KPIs, measurement tools and metrics to demonstrate results delivered through the CoE and report to senior management.
