KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
POLICIES, PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES
Must follow all safety regulations. Must always follow best practice to measure product that meets all quality standards. By policy audits production to ensure that quality product is produced and shipped to the customer. Responsible for maintaining the inspection instruction and part print file that will be used daily by production staff. Must be the quality expert on his or her shift. Completes the standard work daily.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Must follow up with on-going coaching and mentoring to production employees. Cross train staff to audit products from blow molding, injection molding and extrusion equipment. Must be proficient in all aspects drip irrigation products.
CONTINUOUS RELIABILITY IMPROVEMENT
Must support continuous improvement teams in efforts for producing drip irrigation products in the most efficient manner.
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Responsible to maintain the documentation for: 1. Inspection instructions and corresponding part prints for all products produced at the PCC drip plant. 2. Inspection instructions and criteria for outsourced products. 3. Flow bench records. 4. Ensure record keeping for approved product release are catalogued and kept up daily. 5. Ensures material discrepancy is kept up daily. 6. Must keep all incoming material certifications.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Safety, Quality and Production. Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Ensures that quality audits are performed as required by PCC standards for drip plant. Follows standard work policy
OPERATING CONTEXT, BOUNDARIES AND DECISION MAKING
This position audits quality checks left by production staff daily. Any products considered to be non-conforming will be addressed thru a material discrepancy policy. Must be the last line of defense before product is shipped. They follow Quality standards set forth by PCC operations at all times (Ref. ASAE or ISO standards and test methods for Drip irrigation). At times maybe required to support all PCC conversion plants in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. They are required to support plant project execution process by participating in commissioning, startup activities and normal operations.
Internally works closely with the Quality supervisor and production staff.
Externally works with companies that supply PCC drip Irrigation plant with source products.
Decisions: Must determine when products do and do not conform to the quality standards. Must follow material discrepancy reports daily.
المهارات
Knowledge and experience with proper techniques for testing and use of irrigation tubing and pipe. Trained in Micro irrigation design. Safe work practices associated with non-destructive and destructive test methods. Specific training in close tolerance measuring devices. (Dial indicators, Calipers, Micrometers, etc...) Flow bench testing. Ref. ISO 9261:2004 Agricultural irrigation equipment - Emitters and emitting pipe - Specification and test methods.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Arabic. Proficient in MS-Office and SAP. Good interpersonal and mentoring skills; good organisational skills; good multi-tasking skills. Understands plastics.
