الوصف الوظيفي
Designs and directs construction of water and other hydraulic engineering projects for control and use of water: Computes and estimates rates of water flow. Specifies type and size of equipment, such as conduits, pumps, turbines, pressure valves, and surge tanks, used in transporting water and converting water power into electricity.
The jobholder needs to collaborate closely with the different departments in Marafiq to be able to collect data, analyse it and report findings related to water capacities. The job is required to solve non-recurring problems using own knowledge and experience
المهارات
Skilled in the use of engineering planning software and demonstrating capability of making optimal use of the software to achieve assignment requirements.
Detailed knowledge of facilities management/planning techniques and philosophy.
Sound understanding of water production and distribution operational processes.
Up-to-date knowledge water desalination and treatment technologies.
Skilled in estimating project resource requirements (manpower, materials, financial).
Broad understanding of project cash flow management techniques.
Ability to develop a capital plan based upon an understanding of current assets and their condition.
