Auto Mechanic

الوصف الوظيفي
To perform minor and medium periodic maintenance services efficiently and effectively in accordance with MMC/MFTBC standards, thus ensuring a first-time fix leading to enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.

· Perform regular preventive maintenance and assigned minor mechanical repair.

· Fill out parts requirement for assigned job, seek approval on parts requisition forms from Workshop Foreman and collect parts from store.

· Follow the guidelines on ensuring cleanliness of customer vehicle during service operations using protective materials.

· Any other tasks as directed the Manager/Supervisor

· Comply with quality standards and health and safety procedure.

· Inform the workshop foreman/supervisor for any additional work required and obtain approval.

· Inform Workshop Foreman and Workshop Controller in case of parts non availability

· Write the complete details of work performed in the repair order.

· Communicate and follow-up parts ordered with Parts Department.

· Understand the effective use of tools and equipment.

· Develop/improve the skills in performing maintenance service in order to improve efficiency and quality.

· Understand and implement new systems relating to mechanical operations in order to improve service quality.

· Knowledgeable in performing automotive mechanical repairs

Having the ability to clearly communicate both orally and written.
