الوصف الوظيفي Strategy § Develop, recommend and execute plans and action plans for warehouse management in line with the logistics and distribution strategy to ensure smooth distribution operations and minimize waste. § Set and implement plans for warehouse employees to ensure meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA), safety, and quality standards and provide optimal service delivery. Direction of Subordinates § Manage warehouse employees by setting functional plans, organizing work activities, and monitoring performance versus plan to ensure that work activities are carried out efficiently and in a procedurally compliant manner. Leadership and Development § Lead the planning and execution of development programs for warehouse employees, in coordination with the HR team, using effective methods such as demonstrations, on-the-job training, technical courses, workshops, etc. to meet employees’ training needs, minimize mistakes and achieve performance targets. Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards, and Reports § Lead the development of warehouse policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent application and ease of operations for subordinates. § Monitor the reinforcement of regulations and policies by the government’s bodies such as the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Municipality, Civil defense, etc. to ensure complying warehouses and maintaining a clean company record in front of such bodies. § Review summary reports submitted by warehouse employees and prepared final performance reports for function heads and relevant stakeholders, highlighting major accomplishments, issues, and actions that were taken against them. Budget § Lead the preparation and consolidation of the warehouse budget and monitor expenditures to ensure that activities and team expenditures are within the allocated budget to control costs and enhance profitability. Warehouse Management § Optimize space availability through the development and implementation of efficient storage, tracking, and retrieval systems such as first in first out (FIFO) or first expiry first out (FEFO) to minimize storage costs and ensure the ease of material movement. § Monitor material transportation schedules in the warehouse and between Duroub warehouses to ensure streamlined logistics operations and the efficient use of transportation equipment. Inventory Management § Manage the inventory of the warehouse through product count and product rotation to ensure that system records are updated accurately displaying the correct quantities of goods stored to facilitate additional purchases and Customers’ requirements. § Monitor and optimize the material flow in the warehouses by developing material route plans and schedules to ensure the efficient execution of material transportation and minimize material waste. Quality Control § Manage quality control checks and inspections to ensure that all goods sent from the warehouse to clients are as per client request and are not of inferior quality, damaged, or expired. Damaged Goods Management § Lead the processes of detecting and rectifying damaged goods or packaging to return, repack, or dispose of damaged goods to ensure that warehouse goods can be stored as per specifications and can be sent to clients. Facility Maintenance § Manage the maintenance of the warehouse by ensuring that the warehouse is maintained at the required temperature and hygiene to ensure that goods are preserved in the right condition. § Coordinate forklift and heavy vehicles corrective maintenance program to avoid any stoppage and/or time wastage in the work and ensure safety and minimum accident frequency. Loading and Offloading § Follow up with the inbound logistics and supply team to stay abreast of the release time of shipments and their location and documentation to ensure that goods have the appropriate documentation and can be delivered to clients without any delay. § Manage the movement of goods and coordinate the loading and offloading in the warehouse to ensure that goods are loaded and offloaded efficiently and in a safe manner to minimize goods movements and stock damage. Relationship Management § Coordinate and communicate with Duroub customers on a regular basis to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed on upcoming space availability and resolve space bottlenecks efficiently. § Coordinate and communicate with Duroub internal teams (transporters, warehouse service providers, etc.) on a regular basis to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed on upcoming needs Safety, Quality & Environment § Ensure that the warehouse employees apply and monitor safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude. Continuous Improvement § Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of warehouse systems (WMS), processes, and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
