Performs ultrasound examinations including uftrasonography of the abdomen, pelvis, obstetric & breast
Submit the images to the radiologist for discussion and reporting.
Call the radiologist for consultation during the examination in difficult cases.
Be responsible for correct identification of patients and site of examination.
Explain the procedure, initruct the patient in assuming physical position for examination.
Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to the organ to be examined.
Keys patient information into ultrasound equipment to maintain record of images.
المهارات
EDUCATION:
BE HOLDER OF APPROPRIATE RADIOGRAPHIC/TECHNOLOGICAL DIPLOMA/BACHELOR DEGREE WITH SPECIAL TRAINING IN ULTRASONOGRAPHY
EXPERIENCE:
HE OR SHE MUST BE IN CONTINUOUS GOOD ULTRASONOGRAPHY PRACTICE AND SHOULD HOLD AT LEAST 2 YEARS POST-DIPLOMA EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE:
EXCELLENT COMMAND OF ORAL AND WRITTEN ENGLISH. KNOWLEDGE OF ARABIC IS PREFERABLE
REQUIRED LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS: SAUDI COMMISSION FOR HEALTH SPECIALTIES & MINISTRY OF HEALTH SAUDI LICENSE.
