Network Field Engineer

الوصف الوظيفي
Acting as a team member providing user support, problem analysis and resolution, general technical assistance, and training related to the IP communications network.

► Laying of Optical Fiber and Termination on the Patch Panels and/or Switches/Routers.

► Troubleshooting of Structured Cabling (Copper and/or Fiber) in case of connectivity problems.

► Installation of IP Phone sets, Access Points, PoE network switches, etc.

► Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fix any related problem.

Education & Qualifications

► Minimum qualification of at least 4 years of bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Communication Engineering.

► Basic knowledge of IP networking & telephony, Audio/Visual & Video conferencing systems.

► Basic knowledge of IP addressing systems.

► Basic knowledge of Power Systems: AC & DC

► Basic knowledge of the usage of Test Equipment like Multi-meters, line tracers, etc.

► Operating and troubleshooting experience with the latest Cisco products.

► Must have technical knowledge of the following technologies and protocols:

► VLAN, VTP, Trunk (802.1q), Spanning Tree

► One of the following certifications is preferred: CCNA, CCNP, ITIL
