Junior CNC Machinist

الوصف الوظيفي
· Work closely with senior machinists and supervisor in planning and scheduling of jobs.

· Read and assess technical drawings and sketches for conformity prior to scheduling.

· Set up machines for specific programs and tooling needs as per job instructional data.

Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools to specifications.
Maintain acceptable quality and efficiency levels as set out by supervisor.
Perform mathematical and geometrical calculations as needed.
Use appropriate measurement tools to inform any corrective actions to rectify errors.
· Undertake set-up and co-inspection processes with other team members as needed.

· Monitor user Job requests and other operational data such as tools and materials inventory.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. 

· Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and Lab Safety Plans

المهارات
Qualifications/Experience

· Associate Degree or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related fields.

· 2 years’ experience in a related service environment, preferably a University.

Competencies

· Positive attitude and team player, service orientated with a creative and collaborative mindset.

· Demonstrates initiative, capable of being self-directed with a meticulous attention to detail.

· Working knowledge of setting and operating manual and CNC equipment.

· Working knowledge of Laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC machine and other rapid prototyping process.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings and sketches with practical translation to machining.

· Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.

· Ability to work with CAD/CAM and other machining software tools.

· Working knowledge of part measurement techniques and equipment.

· Fluent in English with an ability to communicate clearly to a diverse user base.

· Self-motivated and effectively manages time.
