Job Title Supervisor - Reservation and Ticketing.Jeddah - Sales Educational Qualifications Fresh Bachelor degree in a related discipline OR Two years college Diploma in a related discipline with 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in reservation systems GDS of an Airline industry OR Specialised certificate in the related field preferably IATA or similar with Secondary school and having 6 years of relevant work experience. Skills/Knowledge * Proficient in English (Spoken & Written) * Proficient in MS office * Excellent knowledge of reservation system (GDS) * Good Negotiation Skills * Customer Service skills * Passenger pricing knowledge * Procedure implementation Team player Experience Required As mentioned in the advertisment Job Location KSA- Jeddah Job Description 1. Optimum management of the resources within the department. 2. Responsible to all day to day activities 3. Overall Supervision of ticketing activities 4. Distribute all fare circulars and update all staff from time to time. 5. Safe guard all Cash valued documents 6. Set objectives for all ticketing staff. Set standards and ensure that they are met or exceeded. 7. Set standards for the entire section to reflect Oman Air Image. 8. Provide Oman Air customers (passengers and travel Agents) all services to the companies standards 9. Lead, train and develop the staff to achieve highest level of performance 10. Motivate staff and recommend reward according to performance and productivity. 11. Create a cordial working atmosphere to increase the productivity of the staff 12. Prepare duty roster and assign duties to the staff 13. To plan training requirements for the staff 14. Coordinate closely with CRC and Airport Manager/Supervisor. 15. Compile monthly statistics 16. Inform management about competitors practices 17. Update Management with all relevant statistics. 18. Adhere to all management decisions. 19. Reduce reservation cost to the minimum. 20. Strictly adhere to ticketing and reservation ethics. 21. Ensure that all staff follows reservation and ticketing ethics. 22. Adhere to Company ethics and standards at all times 23. Groom, Conduct, and present in accordance with the companies’ image. 24. Work in close co-operation with airport staff to minimise the impact of disruption on customers 25. Any other job assigned by the management 26. Keeping the manuals up-to-date. 27. Revenue documents inventory control: • On a daily basis, to close station and to generate sales summary. • ASR of each staff is collected and forwarded to revenue on a daily basis. • Ensure daily sales collection tallies with the end of the day consolidated sales summary • To ensure sales proceeds are banked every day. • Correct system errors by changing VCR status. • Generate staff productivity report.
