Process Engineer Job
Work Location: KSA > Jizan Advanced Metal Industries Co. (AMIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee and Cristal. Tasnee, signed a joint venture agreement with Japan’s Toho Titanium Company in January 2014 to build the SAR 1.6 billion project. The titanium sponge project is the region’s first of its type to produce 15,600 tons of pure titanium. The company has sent 69 Saudi engineers to train for two years in Japan on producing pure titanium. An exciting opportunity is available for Process Engineer based in Jizan and will reports directly to Superintendent, Process Technology.
Summary:
To ensure stable and efficient operation of the smelting process by analysing data and taking appropriate steps to ensure process stability. To provide daily technical and operational support as well as short term technical improvement of plant and process based on well-developed knowledge of engineering standards and practices.
In this role, you will be responsible of:
1. Monitor operations and report on production and metallurgical processes. 2. Monitor quality performance of metallurgical processes. 3. Assist production team with trouble shooting. 4. Technical fault finding to resolve plant operational issues. 5. Conduct RCA to resolve substandard operating conditions. 6. Conduct projects to improve operational performance as per MOC procedure. 7. Conduct production reconciliation and metallurgical accounting. 8. Reconcile raw material stock levels to verify consumption and cost. 9. Analyse final product quality and raise non-conformances when required. 10. Maintain and improve safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14000, 18001). 11. Improve and maintain cross functional customer relationships 12. Actively participate in incident investigations and ensure timeous close out 13. Actively participate in all required meetings pertaining to the operations as required 14. Provides guidance and support to help more junior team members. 15. Work shifts.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering. • 5 - 10 years operational experience in a smelter production and process environment / pyrometallurgical industry.

Need to have excellent analytical skills, paying attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Have to be effective and self-motivated. Ability to work under pressure. Highly computer literate and well experienced in Microsoft Office. Exceptional technical report writing skills.
